2nd Beginners and Intermediate Print Competition

We welcomed Sue Sibley as our judge on Thursday, and had a very enjoyable evening seeing very good work from both Beginners and Intermediates.  Sue’s judging was enthusiastic and very informative, with plenty of sound technical advice.  Sue’s has a very strong sense of composition, and a particular enjoyment of colour and lighting.  She clearly enjoys the quirky and was encouraging of more experimental work, as well as having a considerable interest in the photographer’s  thought processes behind the image.

As the current Chair of Southampton International Exhibition, we were very grateful to Sue not just for such an informative evening, but that she collected out members’ print entries for SIE!
