Just a short newsletter this week.

Please take a moment to read the Club’s accounts for the year ended 30 June 2026, which have been approved by the Financial Examiners.

I hope you have all seen the SCPF August Newsletter. Our exhibition is featured on page 6.

If you use Photoshop, I recommend that you do not install the latest update, version 27.9.0. A known bug can make images appear washed out and low in contrast, particularly when GPU acceleration is enabled.

If you already have done this, here is a fix

• Open Photoshop.
• Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance (Windows) or Photoshop > Settings > Performance (Mac).
• Uncheck Use Graphics Processor.

Restart Photoshop.
