Exhibition Closing
Please find information for tomorrow below for disassembling the exhibition. It will be open to the public until 5pm so until then please encourage them to attend.
The Annual Exhibition closes at 17:00 on Saturday. If you cannot attend then, please arrange for someone else to collect your prints.
At about 15:00, the Selection Committee will choose images for the Inter Club competitions we enter. Selected prints will be marked with a coloured sticker on the display panel. If one of your prints has been selected, please leave it in place when clearing your display; the Selection Committee will remove it.
Exhibitors may begin removing labels from 16:45, but prints must remain in place until 17:00. If no members of the public are still viewing the exhibition, labels and prints may be removed earlier at your discretion.
Before removing your prints, please take off all labels—including panel numbers, award labels, and print numbers—and bring them to the table near the Servery Hatch beside the Café.
Storage boxes for the labels removed from the display panels will be on this table.
Please place print numbers and Certificates of Merit in the appropriate storage box. Each box has clearly numbered sections, so place the six print numbers in the correct section. One storage box also includes spaces for Certificates of Merit.
- Please remove the Velcro stickers from the backs of your prints to prevent damage during transport. Plastic bags will be available.
- Uncollected prints will be returned to Tangmere Village Centre.
- As space is limited, please collect your prints by the third Thursday club meeting.
Prints still uncollected after that date will be sent to the Hospice and Sage House, where they will be displayed for a period to be confirmed – usually 6 months.
