Weekly update

Last night’s event was the final round of the Advanced PDI competition, which was ably judged by John Tilsley ARPS APAGB, who chairs the judging panel for the Western Counties federation. The results are below and congratulations go to Brian Muir for winning the competition overall and with it the Hackett Cup, which will be presented at the Annual Exhibition. The competition was close, with Ian Roberts, Andy Dulson and Jim Munday all within 1.5 points, so congratulations to them too. You will all recognise that the featured image is by Andy!

Tomorrow’s (April 13th’s) photowalk will be in Littlehampton. Meet at noon at The Beach Cafe, opposite the Wave swimming pool.

The Developers’ Group will meet at Tangmere on Monday 15th April at 7:15 for 7:30.

The RPS Group will meet on Tuesday 16th – see below.

Next Thursday’s talk will be by Jo Teasdale and will be at Tangmere, as usual.

The deadline for the 3rd Advanced print competition is 25th April.

It’s time to start focusing on the Annual Exhibition. A panel of up to 6 images in 40 x 50cm mounts. The deadline for submission is 16th May. The Tangmere Community Centre will be closed that evening, so collection points will be advised nearer the time. Our Zoom speaker that evening (Adrian Donoghue) will be joining us from Australia.
