North Mundham Exhibition – reminders

The North Mundham Exhibition is not far off and only a week after we return from the Christmas and New Year break, and there are a few matters outstanding.  

 Margret Preece reminds us that as usual we have planned a meal for the evening of the first day, Saturday 14 January, cooked by our wonderful chef Bill McKnight.  All exhibitors and all helpers are invited as well as their spouses/partners.  Like last year the price of the meal will be £12 (this is for a delicious 3 course dinner including wine or a soft drink – must be the bargain of the year). 

At our first two meetings in the New Year Margret will be collecting names of all those wishing to attend and will be collecting money for the meal (£12 per head).  Please let Margret know if you are vegetarian. 

Hopefully most Club members will be able to attend, this is such a good opportunity to get to know everybody.  The maximum number we can seat is 80 – book early to secure your place. 

 

Mike Davison and Carmel Lynch are once again organising the Tombola – do please contribute gifts for the draw when the Club meets again on the 5th January.

Joan and Jon Barham are running the sales table, so items for sale to Joan and Jon, who have arranged a useful ‘sales sheet’ for all items which you can collect from them.
