Christmas update

Huge congratulations to Julia Wainwright FRPS MPAGB BPE4* AFIAP who has maintained her record of having an entry accepted in each of the 6 years she has entered the PAGB’s prestigious Masters of Print competition, which is an exceptional achievement. This year’s amazing image entitled ‘Fight for Life’ (featured) was awarded a silver medal. Very well done – again – Julia!

The Newlands House Gallery will be hosting an exhibition of Nick Brandt’s work from 3rd February to 29th May 2024. Entitled ‘The Day may break + SINK/RISE’, this is the third chapter in Brandt’s series portraying people and animals that have been impacted by environmental damage. Remember that the entry deadline for the 2nd round of the Club/Intermediate print competition is 4th January, which is also our first meeting of 2024, when we will be spending ‘An evening with Benjamin Graham’. Benjamin is an accomplished landscape photographer with over 40 years of experience, who also runs courses at West Dean College.
