What a great evening with Matthew Cattel last night. Inspiring images, a lot of tips on composition, giving thought about the image you want, taking time to find the right position for the shot and striving to find something different to photograph. I really enjoyed it and I’m sure you all did as well.

This came to my attention that may be of interest to some of you. It is a woodland photo workshop with Paul Stillman at Eartham Wood. To all advanced photographers who wish to exhibit at North Mundham, please please return your entry forms as soon as possible. I know the form says to be returned no later than the 28th but the working party is meeting on the 19th and it would be useful to have some idea of the numbers by then so we can plan the layout. I have currently received ten from the thirty who expressed an interest from my first request some time ago.

Two reminders now.

First the photo walk at West Wittering on the 6th. If you want to attend you need to let Andy Bracey know and you need to book your car park space on the 5th as you can’t book on the day.

Second, the Arena exhibition at the Oxmarket Gallery in Chichester starts on the 7th and it will be a real treat to see images from some top photographers. Not one to be missed.

Finally we have the 2nd Club/Inter PDI competition next week so I hope to see you all there.
