Morning All,

Some super images in last nights competition and very well judged by David Eastley. Congratulations to all entrants but particularly to Michael Palmer, Brian Muir, George Atkins and Andy Dulson who all scored maximum 10s.

Hilary Featherstone would like to thank all who sent her images for the Hospice and Sage House. They are very well appreciated. The returns will be placed in a box at Tangmere ready for collection when we finally meet.

The club accounts have been circulated and should any member want to ask a question could they please do so by e-mail to the treasurer before the 11th November. On that evening we will hold a short SGM.

Today, which would have been his birthday, there is an informal celebration of the life of Richard Smith a member of our club who sadly passed away in 2020. It has been organised by his family and is at the Selsey football club between 13.00 and 16.00. The family have invited anyone who new Richard to drop in if they can so I hope there will be a good representation from the club.

Next week we have the pleasure of a talk by Matthew Cattel on outdoor photography. Matthew is an award-winning outdoor photographer with a passion for promoting the natural world through photography, from panoramic vistas down to the details and behaviour of the wildlife on our doorstep. This should be a great evening and I look forward to seeing you there.

Stay safe.

Mike
