Weekly Update
3 days until the start of the Annual Exhibition.
Annual Exhibition Preview evening Friday 31st July 19.00 for prompt start at 19.30 – 22.00
So that Sarah and team can cater for us all and for us to have an approximate number of chairs out on Friday – please can you email Peter Farrelly whether you intend to join us for the preview evening and how many guests (who are most welcome) you will be bringing: petercfarrelly@gmail.com Let us know by Thursday 18.00 please. Sarah will also be looking for you to bring some finger food on Friday and Nikki would like to receive homemade cakes during the week for the café. Many thanks.
Set Up information for Friday 31st morning
Unless you are part of the strong-arm team, please do not arrive before 10:00 AM. You must be present by 10:30 at the latest and finish by 11.00. If you are unable to attend, it is your responsibility to find a replacement.
• The AE team will finish set-up (pushing it back to allow for evening set up) and vacate the Assembly Room by 11:30 AM.
• Every entrant has an assigned place in the room and a designated method for hanging their prints.
• You can find your name and the location of your panel in the small hall within a personal plastic bag – which needs to be returned to us.
• This will identify your print box number. The print box will be placed near the panel, and the panel numbers along with photos showing the arrangement will be provided.
Please bring measuring tape and a level if possible. Using the layout guidance and six Velcro tabs (supplied), place your prints as indicated. Assistance will be available. Once everything is set up, the award labels will be added. All panels will then be repositioned to the sides of the room in preparation for the evening.
Strong Arm Gang
If you can help Mike Harris and his team – here is the information: he is collecting the transport on Thursday 30th July at 12 midday and will go straight around to Ann’s. The team will then collect our equipment from Tangmere about 12.30. You will then be needed the following day at the Assembly Room at 08.30 please. Thank you in anticipation.
Subscriptions – a plea from Madeleine to those remaining few who have been busy on holiday and the following passed you by: Please may I remind members that the constitutional date for paying annual membership subscription has passed. Thank you to all who have paid up.
If paying is problematic, in any way, please let me know so that alternative arrangements can be made. Also, if you have set up a standing order, please check the date and amount of payment to avoid paying twice!
