Weekly update

Last night, Ollie Taylor gave us a fascinating insight into the world of landscape astrophotography and his search for locations with the least light pollution, which has taken him to the Canaries, Iceland, Peru and Bolivia, with temperature variations in the Altiplano from plus 20 degrees during the day to minus 25 at night. The result has been some stunning shots showing the awesome scale and beauty of the Milky Way from both hemispheres. One of his images is featured here.

The PAGB Group will meet at Tangmere at 7pm on Monday 6th February.

The deadline for entries for the 2nd Club and Intermediate print competition is Thursday 9th February ( see below) and for Round 5 of the Small Print competition, it is 16th February. John Strickland has kindly agreed to manage the small prints, so please get your images to him.
