Weekly update

Today is Jean Wilson’s 90th birthday. Very best wishes from us all, Jean and have a great day.

On Thursday, we had the 1st Club / Intermediate PDI competition, which was so popular that even after the Intermediate entries had been cut from 3 images to 2, we still had 74 for judge Peter Merry to review. The results are shown below. Well done to all entrants, particularly to those entering a competition for the first time. The featured image is ‘Dancing feet’ by Richard Paterson.

Some reminders:

On Monday 16th October, the Developers’ Group will be meeting at Tangmere. 7:15pm for 7:30 as usual. Tuesday 17th will be the turn of the RPS Group, at the same time. The meeting of the Digital Group which was planned for 24th October has been rescheduled to the 31st. The deadline for entries for the 1st Club / Intermediate print competition is Thursday 26th October (not the 25th as shown in the orange programme). Remember that prints need to be in 40cm x 50cm mounts and that a PDI of each print must also be posted in PhotoComp, in the same way as for PDI competitions. Monday’s Developers’ Group meeting will be helpful for those wishing to enter for the first time.
