Weekly update

On Thursday we were treated to an excellent presentation by Viveca Koh FRPS (pictured). This was her 5th talk for us in 9 years, so she is an old friend. She reminded us of her Ubex (Urban Exploration) roots and took us through her 5 current projects and illustrated her great versatility, including creative shots in cemeteries, square presentations of seascapes and iPhone images. Viveca sits on the RPS assessment panel for Licentiate distinctions and on the Visual Arts Panel for Associateships and Fellowships, along with our own Lorna Brown FRPS.

The PAGB Group will meet at Tangmere on Monday 2nd October (see below for details).

The Portrait Group will meet for a practice session at 7:30pm on Wednesday 4th October, also at Tangmere. Studio flash lighting will be available for everyone to take portraits of each other. On Tuesday 3rd October, Jim Pascoe is giving a talk at Bognor CC about his 5-year involvement with Winchester College. 7:15 for 7:30pm at St. Mary’s Centre, Grassmere Close, Felpham (£5).

The extended deadline for submissions for the 1st Club/Intermediate PDI competition is 5th October.
