Weekly update

On Thursday, Janey Devine FRPS gave us an insight into the making of her long-term photographic projects to illustrate the realities of living in mid-sized towns. We are used to seeing the very accomplished finished products in her books and exhibitions, so it was fascinating to hear about the ups and downs and personal discomforts which lay behind the photographic successes. We still need urgently to find a Treasurer for next season, so please volunteer if you are familiar with basic bookkeeping and electronic banking. The Club will simply not be able to function from September without a Treasurer. Please contact me at mailto:chair@chichestercameraclub.org.uk if you can help. Do it NOW!

Reminders: The Developers’ Group will meet on Monday 17th April and the RPS Group on Tuesday. The deadline for the 3rd Club/Intermediate print competition is 4th May but there will be no meeting at Tangmere that day (elections), so please bring your prints to the Club on either the 20th 0r 27th April. May 18th is the final deadline for the Annual Exhibition but there will be no meeting on May 4th or 11th, so please submit your prints this month if you will be away on 18th May.
