Can I take a moment to remind members about some basic steps to ensure that we keep the web site secure.

Firstly, it is important that you choose a password that is easy for you to remember but is not obvious to other people. Please so not use things like ‘password’ or ‘2017’.  Also, use a mixture of upper and lower case and with some special characters such as ?!£$ etc.

Secondly, do not use a password that you have used on other sites. The reason for this is that if an attacker finds your password on one site they can use it on all your sites.

Thirdly, if you get an email saying you have requested to reset your password and you have not actually requested it, please do nothing with the email, but please contact me or forward the email to me.
