SCPF Audio-visual Championship 2024
The SCPF will be running another Audio-Visual Championship this year, details are in Steve Kirkby’s email (copied below), which includes a link to the current rules and a newsletter containing advice and example work.

Hi,
Following an excellent resurrection of this event, I would like again to invite your club to enter this year. 2023 produced an amazing 36 entries from 15 clubs; we were so inundated that we were unable to project all the sequences on the day.
Audio-visual sequences are a collection of principally still photography with an accompanying soundtrack of music and/or spoken commentary. Clubs can enter up to three sequences of two to five minute duration. The best club entry of three sequences is awarded the Oak Leaf Salver with certificates for the runners-up and best individual AVs. Please consult the rules for further information. Closing date for entries is Sunday the 29th of September. Even if you only have one AV creator in your club, please consider entering as there are individual placings as well as the overall club competition. As it is near the beginning of the season, please make sure that your club’s SCPF subs have been paid on time. This time around our judge is Micki Aston LRPS CPAGB (Chilterns).
The event showing the best sequence and awards will be held on Sunday 3rd November from 2pm-5pm at Cliddesden Village Hall kindly hosted again by Basingstoke CC – your members are most welcome to attend even if your club is unable to enter.
