More reminders

Now that the Spring Exhibition is very successfully behind us, it’s time to think about your entry for the Annual Exhibition. Although the exhibition itself is not until August, there is a long process of sorting the images into the various categories ready for judging, in time for the cups to be engraved with the winners’ names. The bottom line is that entries must be submitted no later than 16th May. Guidance notes for entrants will be on the website but, in summary, every member can enter up to 6 images. Prints must be in 40 x 50 mounts. Based on last year’s experience, it is likely we will have more entries than there is space in the Assembly Rooms to hang them, so the Selection Committee will need to cull some entries but everyone is guaranteed that at least one of their prints will be in the exhibition.

The closing date for the 3rd Club/ Intermediate print competition is this Thursday, 11th April. Remember to enter the corresponding PDIs into PhotoComp.

The closing date for the 3rd Advanced print competition is 25th April.
