Morning All,
A reminder, for those who may wish to attend, that the funeral of the late Charlie Roe, pictured above, will be held at St Mary Our Lady in Sidlesham on the 15th March at 11:00am with refreshments later at the Church Hall.
Now, on a happier note, our congratulations, somewhat a little late maybe, to all the award winners last night. It was a delayed presentation due to something called Covid. Some of the 2020 winners were able to hold the cup they won for almost thirty seconds until we whipped it back and presented it to the 2021 winner. Luckily there was no fighting over who should hold it as everyone just seemed happy that we could finally make a personal presentation.
Thanks to our judge for his patience while we did the presentations and for his judging of the 2nd advanced print comp, the results of which are attached to this newsletter.
It was pleasing to see a relatively full attendance at Tangmere and hopefully this will increase to its normal levels over the next few weeks.
Next week we have the pleasure of the company of Astrid McGechan with her presentation, Publishing a Book : A Mystery?, so hopefully we may get a few tips for our upcoming Photobook competition.
Take care and see you next week.
Mike
