RESULTS OF 1ST HEAT OF THE SMALL PRINT COMPETITION

Many congratulations to the 3 winners of the 1st Heat,  particularly as there were so many outstanding images entered.  The winners were:

1st Kevin Macknay – Hasp and Staple

2nd Vivien Ruddock – Imperial Iris

3rd Madeleine Craggs – Reflecting on Shanghai

As there were so many high quality images, the judges also wanted to award Highly Commended to the following:

Charles Allison – Swildon’s Mole

Jane Hibbell – Towering Into The Night

Martin Lloyd – Leaning

We had an unusually high number of entries and, for this reason, there simply wasn’t time to give feedback as would normally be the case.  Apologies for that.  If you would like feedback, perhaps your mentors could point you in the right direction.   Thank you to everyone who entered and thank you to our judges who faced a tough job: Carole Speight, Peter Rocchiccioli and Glyn Edmunds.  

The 2nd Heat will be on 14 November, deadline 7 November.  I’m very much looking forward to seeing your next lot of entries.  Well done everyone.
