I’m pleased to say the RPS group has chosen to meet at our usual venue again in September after a period of virtual meetings.
Our first meeting of the new season will offer an introduction to the various distinctions made by the Royal Photographic Society so if you are interested in finding out more about how to put together a portfolio of images that meet the RPS’s criteria do come along.
A number of recent successful panels will be on show along with an overview of the requirements. It will also be a particular pleasure to see some of the work in progress that so far we have only seen online and hear from those developing submissions.
If you already have some ideas about work to enter, you are also very welcome to bring that along. There’s is no need to mount that and small prints are perfectly suitable to begin with. it is however helpful if you do stick prints to a card of some kind as this will keep them upright on the display boards we use.
Mindful of Covid precautions, there will be sanitiser available, we will keep the room ventilated and please bring the correct change (£3) to avoid handing money. I regret that although these sessions are usually open to none members, to keep our number low that is not possible just now.
We meet at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start in the small hall at Tangmere Village Centre.
