This was judged by Peter Gennard MFIAP EFIAP\/d3 from Smethwick, with prints in the morning and PDIs after lunch. The whole day ran very smoothly, and I\u2019m pleased to say we did exceptionally well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the prints there were 28 clubs competing with six prints each. We came first with 55.5 points (which included three 10s), followed by  Yateley with 54.5, then Winchester with 54. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>We also picked up three individual awards:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cFemale Hyena with Cubs\u201d by Ian Roberts\u00a0was awarded the Herbert Dennis Trophy for the best colour print<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cIberian Lynx Kittens Playing\u201d by Julia Wainwright\u00a0received a Highly Commended\u00a0award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cTroubled Waters\u201d by Jim Munday\u00a0was awarded Second Place in the monochrome prints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the PDIs there were 35 clubs competing with 8 PDIs each. Again, we came first with 66 points, followed by Winchester with 63 and Horndean with 62.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also had an individual award:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8220;Pelican Takeoff&#8221; by Ann McDonald was awarded the Philip Conway Memorial Award for the best PDI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an exceptionally good set of results for the club. Although we have previously won the prints we have never won the PDIs before and I don&#8217;t think any club has ever won both prints and PDIs at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest SCPF Newsletter lists all the club and individual awards and includes details about the SCPF Exhibition which will be in Salisbury Library and opens to the public on 4th January, running until 1st February.
