What a great talk by Derek Gale last night. His wonderful creative techniques really demonstrated what movement can do for images. It was different, enjoyable and definitely thought provoking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our congratulations go to all who took part in the following competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The last round of the Crouch Shield<\/strong> competition was hosted by Littlehampton camera club on the 17th of March. CCC looked to be in a strong position going into this round but unfortunately we were just pipped to the post by Steyning CC who scored 145 to our 143.\u00a0It’s worth noting that David Harris scored 20 for his image ‘Damselfly Mating’ on the night.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the SCPF championships<\/strong> the final results were as follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1st Place New Forest It’s worth noting here that Ann McDonald and David Harris had scores of 14 out of 15 for their images ‘Pelican Takeoff’ and ‘Damselfly Mating’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just to reiterate, the closing dates for the Spring exhibition is April 1st and for the A\/V and photobook comp is April 11th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Finally, on rather a sad note, I have to report the passing of George Taylor a long term member of the club. Should any member wish to send their condolences, please do so by email to rosslaney@mac.com.
