Our members are united by a passion for making photographs.\u00a0We aim to help members develop their skills by offering opportunities for sharing skills, friendship, inspiration, creativity and exploring new ideas and techniques.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the best regarded photographic societies in the south of England, our large membership comes from across West Sussex and east Hampshire. Members\u2019 skills and experience range from new hobbyists to multi-award winners.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a lively <a href=\"https:\/\/chichestercameraclub.org.uk\/?post_type=tribe_events\">programme<\/a> of visiting speakers, competitions, educational meetings and social events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Weekly meetings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We meet regularly on Thursdays at 7.15 for a prompt start at 7.30pm from September to the end of May at Tangmere Village Centre, Malcom Road, Tangmere, Chichester, PO20 2HS (just beyond the Co-op). \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Special Interest Groups<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as the main Club Programme on Thursday evenings, the Club runs several Special Interest Groups. The philosophy of these groups is to help members to improve their photography by learning from one another, with an emphasis on sharing techniques and skills, rather than on teaching and tutorials. Do try to come to these groups, which are much smaller than our main meetings and provide an opportunity for you to get to know the other members as well as improving your photography. You may be a member of as many groups as you wish. The Club levies an extra charge for these groups to cover the costs of the group, currently the fee is \u00a33 for members, \u00a35 for non-members.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The leaders of these groups and details of the meetings can be found in the annual programme card and on the website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Exhibitions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Chichester Camera Club is also renowned for its <a href=\"https:\/\/chichestercameraclub.org.uk\/exhibitions\/\">exhibition programme<\/a>, with three exhibitions each year; possibly more than any other club in the area.  The January and April exhibitions allow members freedom to choose their subject matter and layout, whilst the August Summer Exhibition is a more formal showcase for the best work by all members.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Join us<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You are very welcome to join us, no matter what your skill level, style of photography or equipment. Phones and cameras are both welcome : the best camera is always the one you have with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors are welcome to attend either the general meetings or Special Interest Group meetings for a small charge of \u00a35.
