DESCRIPTION:Simon Weir Workshop\, Thursday 24th September 2015  \n  \nAs part of his visit to CCC on the 24th September\, infrared expert from North London\, Simon Weir\, is offering to run a free workshop during the afternoon for up to 12 members. \n  \nI would hope 12 members would be interested\, if it turns out to be more\, then names will be drawn out of a hat. \n  \nItinerary : \n2.00pm                     Meet up at Tangmere Hall \n2.00-5.30pm          Practical outdoor workshop in / near Chichester \nWeather is always a risk\, but if it’s too terrible then retiring to a local café to talk Infrared is an option. \n  \n5.30pm   Dinner for Simon and his CCC host\, Janey Devine (Carluccio’s or \nsimilar) plus any other workshop participants (at their own cost). \n  \n7.30pm   Talk to CCC members. First half instructive\, second half I/R prints \n  \nAdministration \nI’ve seen this talk at Southampton\, which is why I invited him back to Chichester\, but we will be in Vienna on 24th September. Janey Devine – who showed some interesting I/R work at North Mundham a few years back – has kindly agreed to be the coordinator on the day. \n  \nThere is no actual charge for the workshop\, but if you have enjoyed the afternoon and want to make our Treasurer smile\, you could always make a nominal payment (£5-£10) to David. This will help to reduce the overall cost of Simon’s visit. This is strictly an option\, don’t feel obliged and if it rains all afternoon then it certainly would not be expected. \n  \nEquipment  \nSimon recommends that if you don’t have an I/R filter then it will improve your results if you get a Cokin I/R filter from Sussex Cameras / Jessops or similar. DESCRIPTION:Everyone is invited to bring printed images\, ANY SIZE or TYPE from HOLIDAY SNAPS to SERIOUS IMAGES (finished or in progress). \nWe will lay out one table to for each member to display their prints and give everyone time to circulate and look and discuss the images with their authors. \nDepending of the number of participants and the room and limited tables we will probably need several rounds giving everyone time to see each others pictures. \nSome of the most respected photographers of the club and the selection committee will be on hand to give comments.
