DESCRIPTION:Our Christmas Bash. \nOur Christmas Bash is one of our few evenings given over entirely to socialising. \nWe all think we can judge\, so this year the first half of the evening will take the form of a print competition. Members can submit one mounted print that will be displayed on our print stands. All members present on the evening will vote for they favourite print\, placing them in first\, second and third place. This means that members will be able to socialise for the first half of the evening too\, while viewing the prints and discussing the merits of each. \nAs its Christmas the competition will have a theme and the title for the evening is ‘My Favourite Gift’. This can be interpreted however people like!! \nThe second half of the evening will be nibbles\, mince pies and chat.  \nPlease arrive from 7pm to help get everything set up for 7:30pm.

DESCRIPTION:Abandoned America \nTony’s talk tonight “Abandoned America” is drawn from two books he has published “Ghosts in The Wilderness” and “Abandoned On The Plains” which documents the abandonment he witnessed in Montana\, North Dakota and South Dakota.  This was a very personal project undertaken over many years which describes the plight confronting many of the homesteaders throughout much of the 20th Century.
