DESCRIPTION:Our Christmas Bash. \nOur Christmas Bash is one of our few evenings given over entirely to socialising. \nWe all think we can judge\, so this year the first half of the evening will take the form of a print competition. Members can submit one mounted print that will be displayed on our print stands. All members present on the evening will vote for they favourite print\, placing them in first\, second and third place. This means that members will be able to socialise for the first half of the evening too\, while viewing the prints and discussing the merits of each. \nAs its Christmas the competition will have a theme and the title for the evening is ‘My Favourite Gift’. This can be interpreted however people like!! \nThe second half of the evening will be nibbles\, mince pies and chat.  \nPlease arrive from 7pm to help get everything set up for 7:30pm.

DESCRIPTION:‘Keep Looking up’:\n\nA journey into the Rabbit Hole that is Astrophotography\, looking at some well known sights in the sky\, as well as giving hints and tips on how to get started. \nSince the age of 7\, Graham was wanted to take part in Astronomy\, and more specifically to photograph the Night Skies. 6 Years ago\, after moving from light-polluted Hove to the outskirts of Worthing he’s finally been able to look at and shoot the night skies.  This talk is an introduction to Astro Photography throughout the seasons\, with helpful hints and tips should people be tempted.  I also hope to have some equipment with me and will attempt to explain what everything does! \n\n\n
