DESCRIPTION:The first meeting of this season will be on Tuesday 14th October\, in the main hall.  Please arrive at 7.15pm to help set up the hall\, ready for a 7.30pm start.  During this meeting we will cover the basics of image processing\, sizing for club competition\, printing and mounting.  If\, during the evening\, you would like constructive feedback on your work please send digital versions of your images (no more than 3) by Sunday 12th October to imagegroup@chichestercameraclub.org.uk \n\n\n\nThe purpose of the Image and Presentation group is to help members improve the quality of their digital and printed images.  Through a process of sharing expertise\, mutual encouragement and constructive feedback the group will help you to select your best images and consider whether they be more suited to PDI or print\, share hints and tips on how to process them to create a compelling digital image and finally how to print\, mount and panel them for display in competition\, exhibition or even on your wall at home.  Throughout the season we will also look at some successful images and discuss what makes them successful.  The meetings will be held at Tangmere (usually in the main hall) on the second Tuesday of each month. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there.

DESCRIPTION:The February RPS Group meets at Tangmere Village Centre at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. You are welcome to attend to find out more about the Royal Photographic Society distinctions\, that run from the Licentiate which requires a set of images that demonstrate clear camera and  technical skills against a set of published criteria\, to the Fellowship\, which calls for a ‘submission that demonstrates a distinctive and distinguished body of work’. DESCRIPTION:The next Developers’ Group meeting is this coming Monday\, 17 February\, at Tangmere Village Centre at 7.15 for 7.30pm prompt start.  Although only half of the car park is available\, there is plenty of kerbside space on the road outside the venue. \nIt is now time to send in your images to share at next week’s meeting!  They are already starting to arrive.  The photo-challenge over January was ‘Shoot from a low viewpoint’.  Despite the miserable weather\, we hope that some have experimented.  Anyway\, we really do we want to see your best images of whatever subject or genre.  As you know\, those who try out their images at the Developers’ Group\, before putting them into competitions and exhibitions\, often do quite well! \nPlease send 3 JPG images by WeTransfer (to developers@chichestercameraclub.org.uk) by this Saturday 15 February. \n \nNext Monday\, our magazine programme will also include:  understanding aperture with its f/numbers and significance for depth of field\, key questions for good composition\, filters and how to use them … along with another classic painter (clue: misty landscapes with perspective). \nAnd we will explain how to enter and present photographs for the Spring Exhibition on 5/6 April this year (this will be really important for all Club and Intermediate workers)\, \nWe very much look forward to receiving your images no later than midnight this Saturday 15 February\, and seeing you next Monday\, 17 February.  Please remember the £3 cash to help us pay for the hire of the hall (if you are bringing a non-member then it is £5 for them).   \n  Featured image by Peter Farrelly
