EGM – Thursday 21st November

A very short EGM will be held immediately after the conclusion of Club/Intermediate Print competition. The purpose will be to consider a proposal to reduce the quorum figure for AGM/EGM meetings from 35% of the registered membership to a lower figure.

The Management Committee has proposed (as communicated in the Newsletter of 30th October) a quorum figure of 20% and there has been an amendment proposed by John Bradshaw and seconded by Ann McDonald (as communicated in the Newsletter of 6th November) of 25%. The justification for both these proposals is included in the text of the Newsletters.

In order to be able to resolve this matter we need a minimum of 51 members to attend next Thursday to meet the current quorum requirement of 35%. Please make every effort to attend. I hope to be able to move towards a vote as quickly as possible
