Chairman’s blog 11th April

We congratulate The Focus Group for their 10th anniversary and most successful exhibition to date with over 1000 visitors. Well done and we are proud to have so eminent members in our club.

Last Thursday with our very own Steve Marsh and Mike Davison we were entertained by some brilliant images in the street photography genre. The amount of effort and dedication needed to get the level of variety and range and humour in the images should not be underestimated as revealed by the explanation of the background to the images. It is so refreshing to see so many images showing humanity in different situations and in the tradition of the famous photographers that are on show in the exhibition at the Barbican “Strange and Familiar”. All can be done this Thursday

Club Results table

Considering we do not submit images from our advanced group in this class and are competing with the best from the other clubs, this is a good result. Well done and thanks to those who were at Burgess Hill representing The Club.
