Congratulations to Peter Rocchiccioli who had an image accepted at the The London Salon of Photography. This is Peter’s second time having an acceptance at this salon, where only a very tiny proportion of the submitted images are accepted for exhibition.

Stewards Rota 2017
I’m very encouraged by the number of volunteers who have put their names down for stewarding at the Annual Exhibition. I very much appreciate your support. The take up of kitchen slots is slower, so I am encouraging members who haven’t yet put their names down, to sign up for one or more of the kitchen slots. Money from the sale of teas, coffees and cakes will make a big contribution towards the cost the exhibition.
If you are able to spare some time to help, then please have a look at the latest rota for available stewarding and kitchen slots. My contact details are at the foot of the rota.

Last night we were treated to a visual feast. Pete Howell and Carol Sykes traveled from Bristol to present a superb selection of the images accepted and awarded in this year’s Bristol Salon of Photography, one of the most prestigious of the international photographic exhibitions. We were delighted to see that several of the images shown came from our own club. This year Lorna Brown, Keith Sawyer, Mike Davison, Jean Brooks, Sheila Tester and Ann McDonald were amongst those who had images accepted in this exhibition. Congratulations to all!

Bring along your prospective entries for the Southampton International (closes 12th Feb) and we can have a look at them.
Below is some information on it. Please note that the size of the PDIs has changed and is now bigger. For those of you who have not done that I’m going to see if we can arrange for all our prints to be delivered together by someone at the club.
