Annual Exhibition thanks

Many, many thanks to everyone who helped in whatever way to make the Annual Exhibition another great success.  Whether that help was with stewarding, catering, baking, setting up and taking down, helping with the judging and selection, distributing publicity or submitting your work – your help and involvement is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

Stephen Marsh, a previous Exhibition Secretary, asks to send his congratulations , ‘to all those members involved in the planning of the Exhibition who got the show on the road this year. I know only to well how much work is involved.’

Feedback from our visitors was very positive, with many comments about the quality of the work, and lots of comments about how hard it was to decide on a favourite. It was good to see such a wide distribution of votes for ‘my favourite print’, with every exhibitor  gaining some votes.  It was a close run thing – watch this space for the results and for the lucky visitor selected from the draw to win the £40 book voucher!

You might like to note that next year the exhibition will be a week earlier (due to a prior booking at the Assembly Room) – the exact dates will be confirmed shortly.

Excellent exhibition. What great standards. Well done to everyone.

Would like to learn more from the judge on what makes the grade or doesn’t! That would help a great deal about learn the skills and craft of photography
